    7th day: Santorini

Free day. The island of Santorini is famous for its spectacular view of the Caldera, with its typical white houses with breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Around 1600 BC the island was the site of the volcanic eruption that left the great crater Caldera and was possibly the cause of the extinction of the Minoan civilization of the island of Crete with a gigantic tsunami caused by the eruption. Another theory says that this was the origin of the legend of Atlantis.

    8th day: Santorini

Afternoon boat trip on the volcano. The bus picks up customers at a designated place and takes them to the port of Athinios to board the traditional boat (caique). The first stop is on the islet of Nea Kameni, which is the Santorini volcano. There, guests have the opportunity to climb to the crater of the still-active but dormant volcano, 127 meters above sea level, which had the last eruption in 1950. After 1 ½ hours, the boat leaves the volcano and goes to The small islet of Palaia Kameni or HOT SPRINGS, as it is best known, which was formed over the centuries by various volcanic eruptions. Along the coast of the island there are many springs of hot water, and guests have 30 minutes to swim in warm yellow-green waters, which are considered to have healing powers. The next stop is in Thirassia, the second largest island after the Caldera in Santorini. The island, located in front of Santorini, is quiet and unaffected by the large number of tourists arriving every day. Here guests will have 2 hours of free time to explore the island, have lunch in one of the small restaurant, or swim in the crystal clear waters. Finally, the boat leaves the Thirassia and goes to the traditional port of Ammoudi, from where guests will climb the stairs of the OIA area (on foot or by donkey). At OIA, guests can explore the traditional settlement, stroll in the narrow streets, admire the original architecture, summer mix of large Venetian houses and small cave houses, and of course see the world famous sunsets. After sunset, the bus will be waiting in the parking area to return customers to their hotels.
